All San Francisco cabbie Daniel Pinsky wants is a chance at the big time with his band 'Rush Hour.' Through an unusual turn of events he finds himself being framed for the murder of a scientist. He was in possession of a monkey that is carrying a formula for turning atomic waste into a plutonium bomb. Now with monkey and love-struck friend in tow, Pinsky's a wanted young man. To add to the mayhem he's being chased all over town by kooks trying to get the formula. He hilariously outruns and outwits them at every turn, but most importantly he must make it to the battle of the bands semi-finals!
Robby co-produced and co-wrote 'Die Laughing.' He composed five original songs and performed his own music. Two featured ones being 'All I want is love' and 'Mr. Weinstein's barbershop' to open the film.
Robby virtually did all his own stunts in the film, including six days of strenous filming under and on top of a Russian big top circus tent. "I have no one to blame but myself' an exhausted Robby said between takes, "I wrote the darned scene!"
